  1. How to get your phone or Internet plan

    Select the best plan for you and request a SIM card:

    Take your pick from a wide range of mobile phone and mobile Internet plans. Choose between a prepaid SIM card or plan with convenient online registration. Both with no minimum contract period. Then choose between a physical SIM card or eSIM (if you have an eSIM-compatible device).

    Note: You will need your ID number and bank account details to place your online order.

    After your place your online order, you will receive your yesss! SIM card by regular mail free of shipping charges.

    If you do not want to place a free order through our online shop, you can also purchase a SIM card with a pre-installed Classic prepaid option at any of our retail partners throughout Austria.

  2. Activate your SIM card

    • Step 1: Insert the SIM card into your device (phone, tablet, cube, etc.)
    • Step 2: Switch your device on
    • Step 3: Enter the PIN code (see the SIM cutout card)

    NOTE: There is a different activation process for your eSIM, which is described in detail here (in German).

  3. Activate Internet access

    Before you can surf the internet with yesss! you need to make the following settings on your smartphone or tablet:

    • Profile name: WebAPN
    • APN: webapn.at
    • User name: (leave blank)
    • Password: (leave blank)

    If you have any questions about your device, please consult the user’s manual because we are unable to provide individual support with the large number of different manufacturers, models, and operating system versions.

    Tip for Android users: You may need to activate the "Data Roaming" function on your device to be able to access the Internet.

  4. For prepaid customers: Register

    If you chose a prepaid SIM card, you must now register your card. You can do this quickly and easily at many different places:

    • Anywhere you see this sign, e.g. at post offices, A1 shops, Hartlauer, and mobile phone shops
    • Online here using an Austrian mobile phone signature or with your online banking account (participating banks: Erste Bank, Bank Austria, Volksbanken, and Hypo Bank)

    NOTE: Please bring official photo ID with you (passport, national ID card, or driving licence)!

    If you do not register your prepaid SIM card, you will not be able to use mobile communication services (aside from emergency calls). Your initial credit will also be unavailable until you complete the registration process. Unfortunately, it is not possible to register a prepaid SIM card outside of Austria.

  5. Recommended: Download the yesss! app

    The free yesss! app keeps you informed and allows you to manage your plan at any time:

    • Detailed overview of all costs, bills, customer data, and free units (such as minutes, text messages, and data volume)
    • Switch from prepaid to plan
    • Change plan
    • Activate add-on packages
    • For prepaid customers: add credit
    • Port an existing Austrian phone number to yesss!
    • Many other settings for your plan and SIM card (such as data roaming and conference calls)
    • And much more
    • Apple: Download from the App Store
    • Android: Download from the Google Play Store
    • Huawei: Download from the Huawei AppGallery

    Note: The yesss! app is only available in German language in the Austrian and German App Stores.

  6. For prepaid customers: Buy and add credit

    Buy credit:

    • Credit vouchers: €10 or €20 available at more than 15,000 retail partners throughout Austria
    • Online banking: Choose any credit amount between €10 and €100
    • Credit card: Choose any credit amount between €10 and €100

    Add credit:

    • In the yesss! app (online banking, credit card, or credit voucher)
    • In the Customer Centre at yesss.at (online banking, credit card, or credit voucher)
    • By telephone: Call the free yesss! credit hotline at 810820 and press “1” to add credit. When prompted, enter the credit and security code from the voucher, confirming each by pressing “#”.
    • By text message: Send a free message containing LB[SPACE]*Voucher number** (Example: LB 123456789012*1234) to the yesss! credit hotline at 810820

    Note: You will receive a confirmation text message after the credit has been successfully added.

  7. International calls with yesss!

    You can of course make international calls and send international text messages with your yesss! SIM card. You can find the associated costs here:

    Tip: If you make regular international calls to Europe, we recommend you activate the yesss! EU 100 package or yesss! International package.

    yesss! EU 100 package:

    • 100 minutes to the EU (including Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland) for €3.90
    • Activation in the app or the Customer Centre under the menu item “Buy package” ("Pakete kaufen")
    • Cancel at any time
    • Contract: Valid for 1 full billing period (always from the 26th to the 25th of the month) and automatic extension at the start of the new billing period
    • Prepaid card: Valid for 30 days, and automatic extension if sufficient credit is available
    • Refill function: If the included 100 minutes are exceeded while the package is active, a further package with another 100 minutes will be activated automatically for €3.90. As many packages as desired can be activated.
    • Valid from Austria to Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

    yesss! International package:

    • You can enjoy especially low call rates to over 80 countries around the world for just €2/month
    • International option country list for prepaid cards

  8. Roaming: Calls and surfing with yesss! abroad

    With the yesss! Complete L and yesss! Complete XL plans, you can use your call minutes and part of your data allocation anywhere in the EU (including Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland).

    Tip: If you make regular international calls to selected countries outside the European Union, we recommend you activate the yesss! Roaming 100 package.

    yesss! Roaming 100 package:

    • 100 units of data/voice and text message roaming for €14.99
    • Valid in 6 countries: Switzerland, Bosnia, Serbia, Turkey, Canada, the USA (including Hawaii), Great Britain, Gibraltar, Jersey, Isle of Man, and Guernsey
    • Activation in the app or the Customer Centre under the menu item “Buy package” ("Pakete kaufen")
    • Cancel at any time
    • Contract: Valid for 1 full billing period (always from the 26th to the 25th of the month) and automatic extension at the start of the new billing period
    • Prepaid card: Valid for 30 days, and automatic extension if sufficient credit is available
